Seeds Carnations

Not expecting the delivery, she said the bouquet “made her day”. “It's very important to have your circle of friends and people who are there for you,” Velasquez Cancino said. “You never know when you're gonna need advice on something or share a moment like getting those carnations.”

Field Day

Following through the toss, band freshman Liam Selk tries his hand at cornhole. As one of the fastest-growing sports, cornhole was added to the events. “(Dreyfoos) is a lot better than I thought it would ever be,” Selk said. “Random events like cornhole are normal.”

Arts Camp

EASING OUT THE BLOCK, digital media junior Raina Zhao plays Jenga with the kids during lunch time. As one of her favorite games, Jenga gave Zhao an opportunity to remember her “childhood nostalgia.” “During lunch and snack, I actually was able to hang out with the campers,” Zhao said. “I connected with them in a way that reminded me of myself when I was younger.”
